idk about the "a bar is a bar" statement but the older ebay Type R bars were almost identical to the OEM Type Rs. They had the 3 "chambers" and it was actually a very stiff bar....however the older ebay units looked identical to the real Type R and it was extremely difficult to tell them apart, whereas that one looks to be a bit cheaper unit.

you can get a real one for 60$ used. I dont know about you but i just dont like imitation products on my car like that.

whatever you find for under 40bucks then buy it. there is no recommendation.
