ive got a set, but they arent those cheap *** $20 sets; those things will **** you over in the long run. i think i got some $150 set from cosmo racing. never really heard from them, but i think they were the highest priced non-super-high-name-brand (ie. tein) that was listed. its a dual spring design, which is pretty smart if you think about it. in fact, heres the link to them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...18959 havent had a single problem with em yet. id recommend these if you just want to lower your car without having any serious reliability issues, but if your plannin on doing some serious autocrossing you should look into a complete coilover system not just the sleeves.

thanks. but aren't the $300 GC one only springs and height adjusters too? are dropzone good? or are all coilovers, besides the good brandname ones, just bad?

to sum it all up in one lump: "you get what you pay for".

I've got some Skunk2 wannabe's that I picked up at a local speed shop for roughly $140. They do the job pretty well I must say, although the ride is kinda stiff. Maybe it has to do with the spring rates. Either way, the beauty of the knockoffs is that they let Skunk2 do all the R&D and pretty much copy their ish. From my personal experience, if you're not getting a full suspension (TEIN, Sustec Pro's, etc.), then as long as the coilovers look legit, go for it. Don't go cheap on shocks though if you plan on taking that route. I might switch to full coilovers later in the future since it's not like I'm losing a costly sum of money if I do.
