is the 87 ECU the same as the 89?

which ecu are you buying??? the PG7??PM7?? what motor r u going to use the ecu with? dohc zc??? a lil more detail will get you better answers.

i dunno, its for my cousin, he has an 87 teg motor in his 87 Civic Si. his ecu burned up and i was trying to find out if he could use an 89 ecu to replace it

well someone told him the plugs are different
i think that that someone is full of ****, but i wanted to make sure

bump for more info, he has an '87 LS 1.6 engine, so will the 89 LS or RS ( i dunno if there is a diff) work with it

the Rs n Ls motors are the same.
