Default Dtc help plz.

98 b18b1 turbo s300 in a p28. Threw code 4 and 8. I replaced distributor (aftermarket) and crank position sensor (aftermarket) and codes went away. Yes!!! But wait... from the beginning of my build ive had ecu problems. Specifically when i turn key to on 2 when the car is cold the fuel pump doesnt prime for like 10 min. WHAT? So at the same time i made those repairs i purchased an ha motorsports p28 equivalent hondata ready ecu. It came in shortly after. I plugged it in and turned the key and sweet the fuel pump primed right up, but... when i started the car it idled crazy and threw codes 4 and 8 WTF. So i realized quickly i could not just run this ecu i would have to take to my tuner. I unplugged the new ecu and plugged in the old P28 and started the car it runs fine but the codes are still there WTF. How does this happen i tried clearing dtc in hondata no luck comes right back. I tried disconnecting battery to reset no luck. I do not understand how this happend any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may have did something to new distributor when you installed that funky ECU! use a genuine Hondata S300 those other similar programs are garbage and out of date.

Also check the conversion harness if any wires look loose.
