My exhaust recently fell off and it is only from around the doors up. It is a foot or 2 out past the cat. I've been told my some people my car is going to blow up if i keep driving it that way or I've been told no harm will come of it. Anyone else have any comments?

why would your car blow up??? lol unless you put a cork in it im pretty positive no damage will happen to hit. I ran open header for a while only thing that seemed different is that its Reallllllyyyy loud and the shifter gets hotter than normal. Just get it fixed if your worried.

well I had been driving for about a month with exhaust maybe a foot or 2 from the cat, and now it finally broke off right at the cat and is dragging on the ground. So I ordered a skunk2 n1 catback. I hope it isn't to high pitch sound or extremely loud. Anyone else have this on their integra?

Make sure you have a cat that isn't gutted and keep the silencer in, it should be fine.
Whoever told you your car would blow up, is a complete dumbass..

Loud enough to **** neighbours and people off just driving normally and not revving past 3500-4000? I don't care if it has sound... I've been driving with a foot or 2 of pipe just past the cat for over a month now and no problems with anyone

Hahahaha. Did that today when i ran into problems putting on my test pipe. It got to the point where i had spent 2 hours on the lift trying to get the new spring bolts (old ones snapped on me) to fit but the springs are just too thick and are fully compressed before its even tight!!!
Open header for 15 minutes.
And loved every person's reaction as I passed by breaking glass!!!!
Wish it was legal!
And yes your car will blow up

get it fixed...a cop might pull you offer..just explain it fell off due to age and you're in the process of getting the money to repair it.

Slap the moron who told you your car is going blow up. My exhaust recently fell off too but still running and fine. Bolts that hold the mid pipe and axleback got disconnected somehow and it's kinda loud but i'm enjoying it.
I'm using this as an excuse to getting Apexi WS2
