when I am driving around turns or going over bumps, my "door is ajar" symbol flickers on and off. I can also push down on the arm rest on the door and the symbol will light up. Also, my dome light will flicker on and off. It kinda gives my car a cool techno feel sometimes (J/K). Has anyone else had this happen?

 

sounds like the switch at the bottom of the door jam is messed up. Could be a loose wire or the switch might be bent.

 

I had that happen in my old 91 EF hatchback. It was pretty funny, I think the driver's side door was jacked up to the point that the sensor would trick itself if i hit a bump. I just turned the dome light to 'OFF' instead of 'DOOR' and I just learned to deal with the seatbelt sign coming on at random moments.

Mine was probably due to an accident, so the door wasn't flush with the rest of the car, and I rolled around on Neuspeed Race, kinda bumpy ride.

 

yeah I have the dome light off now, but I really want to just fix it.

i always wanted that bastard to fly open on the interstate, but it never did.

 

my 95 dc2 does the same ****, ill be smashin at like 90 or 100 mph and the damn light will start blinkin its like my door is off track or sumthin, its gay as hell

 

Try adjusting your striker (on the door jamb) Make sure it is hitting the latch square. Or you could try replacing the switch.
