Default Doing Auto-to-Manual conversion need help !!!

Im doing a auto-to-manual conversion on a DC chassis, the question is can I use a manual tranny MOUNT in this conversion, or would i have to get a aftermarket mount for this conversion, like the hasport/etc,etc,?!?!?!?

You need the hasport auto to manual part. Since the mount location is different on the manuals.

yeah do not use the manual mount, you need a special 'auto to manual' mount, hasport, jdmshit, and place racing (out of business?) has em.

I had this done over last summer, so I know whats involved.

Here's a good thread about it:

u might as well buy the other 2 mounts cause thier is a big diff. exp with the back mount , it gets ride of about 90% of motor roll. also the driverside mount will help push the one pully away from the frame about 1/4 inch extra. i have about 1/2 from body. the mount will reduce motor sway to. withouit the mount u will be looking at about 1/4 from frame & it might rub under load. i put stage 3 clutchmasters & lsd in gsr tranny. with just the tranny mount i had alot of play & the shifter i could watch it move 3/4 inch under heavy shifting , did all 3 mounts with hasport & its rock hard nop shift play nothing.

hope the info helps u decide, let me know how it goes & if u get the tach to work i could use the info, lol
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
