does anyone else have a hard time starting.....
does anyone else have a hard time starting their integras besides me? Every morning, I have the hardest time starting my Integ. Sometimes it takes me 5 minutes to get it to start. It cranks fine but just won't start. Once I get the initial start, the car starts fine after that. It happens when I leave the car over night and start it the next morning. The problem has been around for a while now...
Anyone have any ideas as to what might be....
thanks

my 97 gsr does the same thing sometimes expecially when it is low on gas.....try cutting the key on for a few seconds not turning the starter but just cut the key on all the way then cut it all the way back and then cut it on again and then try to start it let the fuel pump get nice and primed up......

Exactly what I was thinking. I have the same problem when I am low on fuel.

it does sound like a fuel problem, whether it takes a moment to pump to the injectors, or if something is not working properly, such as a fuel filter going bad, or even worse, a fuel pump. Just some ideas.

Re: ([ iLL ] iNt3GrA)
yep, same here, when it's lower than a quater tank, it cranks for a bit before starting, but never does it when I have at least half a tank.......I'm thinking I'll eventually need a new fuel pump, or clean out my tank.
but I did do something that helped recently. When I changed my oil I put a full tank of gas along with an stp fuel injector cleaner, and the I took it for a nice long ride to maryland and back keeping it at about 80mph/4,000 rpm.......used up the whole tank, and it hasn't happened in a week.
