Does anybody own a 1998 Integra RS
Curious how many out there actually have this very specific model.
From my research, the RS was dropped in 1998, making the 98 model the only year for a non-sunroof, 98-01 exterior updated, integra besides the Type R models.
I have been on the lookout for one for some time but they seem hard to come by.
If you have one or know of one I would love to see pictures of the interior/exterior.

I have a 2000 RS. They made them all the way to the end. Total pain in the *** trying to find info on them however. They are basically an LS just without a few options. They have power windows but manual locks. The also have a power rear hatch switch where the power locks would be. No sunroof, cloth interior and A/C. Power mirrors as well. Very similar to the LS models.

The side moldings and sideview mirrors were also unpainted, and they came with 14in wheels and hubcaps. I bought a brand new 97'RS back in the summer of 1997 (so long ago). The interiors were pretty much the same as mentioned above, minus the power locks and sunroof. If i had known they would be this rare, i would have held on to it....
Back then it was all about the GSR/Type R and swaps weren't as plentiful and cheap as they are now. Now with trackdays as available as they are and people being better informed along with easier/affordable swap options, RS is back in the mix.

Re: Does anybody own a 1998 Integra RS
I have a 98 RS, white with grey interior, 5 speed all stock with 129K miles. The side mirrors are painted black from the factory but the paint has flaked off them a little over time. I haven't touched them up. My tires and wheels and hubcaps are all stock and 195 60 15. The only thing I have done is taken off the front bumper and detailed painted flat black the radiator intake area. I didn't like the look of the white painted radiator cradle plus it was showing a little weathering in that area.
I put all my modification urges in to a 94 del sol vtec with a built LS VTEC B18 with a Type R head.

Word, I guess the guy who owned the car before me (or one of the previous owners) either swapped them out for painted or had them painted. I think the thing I appreciate the most is no sunroof. Solely because it is one less place for the car to have a leak from.

One other thing is that it seems like the mirrors were slightly changed sometime between 1995 and 1997, but I'm not sure exactly when because I haven't confirmed on a 96.
Earlier mirrors are rounded/smooth on the back, and later mirrors have a ridge going across the back.
The previous owner of my car had spare parts from a 95, so that's how I figured it out
Come to think of it, maybe yours was optioned in for colour matched mirrors? Because your car also had a spoiler, and other than your car, I've almost never seen an RS with a spoiler either.

That's kind of what I was thinking. It is not uncommon for people to buy base models and deck them out with as much option as possible. My mirrors have the ridge on the back you are speaking of. I'm willing to be there was a change in 98-01.
