Default Do I need an alignment?

I just put new upper control arms in up front and rotated all my tires and now my car feels like it wants to go all over the road, I have to drive with both hands on the wheel just to keep in my line on the highway. It is just simply out of alignment? My steering wheel is a little off center from before I did the new UCA's.

Is your car lowered? New Tires? More than likely just needs a good alignment.

Did you get the correct control arms on the correct side? If you swap them your caster will be way off, which can affect straight-line stability.

The car was lowered. Last month I put stock struts and springs on which didn't affect the feeling of the steering. I am pretty sure I got them on the right sides. I matched them up. It is just scary how the car feels now.

So the car was lowered but is now at stock height? If you didn't get an alignment, then your tires probably have way too much toe-in. You have to get the car aligned any time the ride height is changed.

Yep, was low, now 4 x 4!! I kept scraping on everything. Iowa is not a good state to have a lowered car in. Anyway, yeah, I willl get an appointment set up for an alignment.
