do c pillar bars work????
i wanna buy a c pillar bar or maybe the "miracle bar" i found on icb motorsports.com for my teg. they look nice but do they really help handling and flex reduction or is it just some extra bling to add to your car?
Yeah the other posts above are right they really dont do anything noticable and if you want to have someone sit in the back then you would have to take it out because if something bad happens then their head would smash into that.
the only positive is that it quiets the noise in my trunk area. a little bit. dont waste money on name brands for this. its not worth it. the onyl benefit is if you have a x bar of somekind with more points of mounting then the stiffer it will be in the rear.

LOL...so true! My gf refuses to sit in the backseat cause she's hit her head on the bar so many times! Honestly, I couldn't notice a difference when I installed my EM racing c-pillar bar stability-wise, but when I hit turns at high speeds or go up drive ways, I can hear a little squeaking noise from the bar just letting me know how much the car's body is trying to flex......so I guess it reduces some upper body flexing?

ding ding!
I bought it for looks and the reason above.
"Dude can you give me and my boys a ride home?"
"Not unless you want to sit in the back seat with a huge bar right at the back of your head"
