Icon2 distributor problem

have a question for the broad well any obd1 dizzy non v-tec work on a v-tec motor????? I know the mounts are different but if slice of and bolt on well run the same?

I believe B18B1 dizzy will work by using two bolts, and cutting an ear off or something. I do not recommend this, but I gave you an honest answer. Good luck!

thats true. but i wouldn't try it. i would rather just go buy a new one or find someone with one around town

i wouldn't try it either, and because one motor is made to rev higher than the other, some internal components may be different, not sure.

OBD1 LS dizzy going onto an OBD1 VTEC motor is fine. An LS dizzy will serve the same function. Like stated above, you have to cut off the forward leg because that's where the vtec solenoid is located on your vtec head.

The drawbacks: It can only be held down with the top bolt and I've heard you don't have the full range in adjusting your timing (correct me if I'm wrong anyone) as you would with a proper fitting vtec dizzy.

Im sure it could work, I have used a d series dizzy to run a gsr, lol, but I had to hold it in place!!
