My buddy has a jdm b18c in his teg, his distributer is **** out on him and he is wondering can he use a usdm distributer or does he have to use the jdm distributer? if u can use the usdm distributer is there any negatives to doing this?

A USDM one will work perfectly fine and is going to be alot easier to find and probably is gonna be cheaper than the JDM one.

they are exactly the same, the legs might be different bout any b series will work. and a lot of times the whole distributor isnt bad. its just the ignitor or coil. to save urself some money if you happen to have any other distributors layin around you can swap parts outta them and try it out.
