Im at the final stages of getting my list together for my swap parts and just have one more quick question. In some pictures of engine bay, you'll notice that some of the headers are more bronze than they are stainless steal looking. More like the hytech-replicas sold on here that had the nitrate coating. If anyone knows what im talking about please fill me in. Ill post pics of motors that have them tommorrow.

If the header is polished stainless steel, it'll turn bronze from the heat.

If they have a ceramic coating, they stay flat silver.

With the nitrate, they turn rainbow-ish.

 

if you get the stainless steel headers. make sure to spray them with WD-40 after you install them to get all the finger prints and oils off the them and it'll give it better color.
