Default Difference in Integra types

How can you tell the difference of the types of the integras from the inside and out?

The most noticeable difference between the 94-97 and 98-01 tegs are the front and back bumpers, side markers, tail lights, etc.

The front bumper of 98's have integra marked on the right side and back bumper as well and as far the side markers goes 98 and up have all amber lenses and 94-97 have amber/clear lenses...

Tail lights on 98-01 are all red and 94-97's have an orange turn signal...Hope I helped you with the most noticeable features on Acura integras?

Thats a pretty open question...but here is some info

RS, LS, GS, SE - B18B1 / 1.8L, 4 cylinder 16 valve DOHC / (hp)140 @ 6300 RPM / (torque)128 @ 5200 RPM / (redline)6800 RPM

GS-R
- B18C1 / 1.8L 4 cylinder 16 valve, DOHC VTEC / (hp)170 @ 7600 RPM / (torque)124 @ 6200 RPM / (redline)8100 RPM

Type R
- B18C5 / 1.8L 4 cylinder 16 valve, DOHC VTEC / (hp)195 @ 8000 RPM / (torque)130 @ 7000 RPM / (redline)8400 RPM

But if you are talking about the body of the cars...

RS, LS, GS, SE - Came in both Coupe and Sedan / Optional Sunroof / no emblems(I think) / 4 lug / optional spoiler / Mostly cloth (leather optional)

GS-R
- Came in both Coupe/Sedan / Came with Sunroof / has DOHC VTEC emblem on back / 4 lug / Includes Spoiler w/ LED / Included Leather (all had black except Cypress Green)

Type R -Coupe Only / NO sunroof / Type R Emblem / 5 lug / Type R Spolier NO LED / Suede Seats with red stitching

Specific wheel types, interior, and other body styles are year specific...if you narrow down your question some that would help

Theres no way RS,GS,LS, or ES could have Vtec? And is ES better then the RS,GS, or LS? I have never even heard of the ES type.

Ok re-read...I type SE which stand for "Special Edition"

And I NEVER said Vtec....all I said was "DOHC", Not "DOHC VTEC"...they are two different things

the RS, LS, GS, and SE have DOHC engines

the GSR and Type R have DOHC VTEC engines

you could swap in a vtec motor.. or you could go the ls/vtec route. but they don't come with vtec motors from the factory.

The RS was 4 lug without a sunroof.
The LS and GS were 4 lug with a sunroof
The GSR was 4 lug with a sunroof and a VTEC emblem below the passenger side tailight.
The Type R had decals, was 5 lug without a sunroof or body moldings as well as a stock front lip and large rear spoiler.
97 and older Integra's had more indented headlights and different bumpers than the 98 and newer models.
All models except the Type R were available in both coupe and sedan versions.

There was just a thread on this:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=761065

There. Read it thoroughly. Every model is slightly different depending on the years. Some RS's had power stuff, some didn't. Some LS's had hubcaps, some didn't. Some had color matched mouldings/mirrors, some didn't. Depends on the year.

I thought the GS-R's came with a 1.7 liter VTEC engine... and I'm almost completely sure its that way for the gen2's, I don't know about later models.
