difference between trannies

hey,

I need a tranny for a 92-92 acura. I know that there is a difference between 92-93 and 90-91 how can you tell the difference?

you have to be a lil more specific...for an ls, gs-r...

i thinnk 90-91 teg trannys are different then 92-93 tannys....also in 92-93 there was a gs-r and the ls tranny

I put a 92 tranny is a 90 ls and the only difference I found was the clutch plate is different.

it's for an ls what I need to know is how can I tell the difference between the ls trannies. is there a number on it that I will see I know that they are both ys1 tranny's.

I remember the only way I could tell was the clutch plate, sorry this doesnt help to much, its been awhile so I dont remember anything else about it.

ok well i ask because someone sold me a 92 tranny(LS). so if i put that tranny in my 90 when i buy a new clutch what do i buy it for a 90-91 or 92-93? also the pressure plate?
