how can you tell a the difference from a gsr and an LS body wise? is there any difference at all i cant seem to tell besides the rims and the motor but you can just throw them on any car. Anyone know ??

 

GSR's does not have third brake light on the hatch glass and LS's do. The GSR's third brake light is on the spoiler and if the LS does have a spoiler, the third brake light is still on the hatch glass. OR you can peer through the windshield and look for DC2 or DB8 on the VIN plate.

 

ls has black bumper side panels and gsr have the color of the body, not much difference except for rim and motor.

Not necessarily, the 98+ Integras had color matched moldings.

Only way to tell that my 4-door is a GS-R is the DOHC VTEC badge, which will be removed once it's boosted most likely.

 

if u look at the vin on a gsr its dc2, and an ls is dc4.. thats it u see one thats parked and your not sure lol.

 

any1 can slap on the vtec badge or gsr blades and call their Ls a GSR...the most likely way to tell is prolly the hatch brake light...but 4 door gsrs have the brake light also...

You guys pretty much wrapped up this question. On top of what everyone said, if you peer through the driverside window, look at the cluster. The redline is different. The RS, LS, and GS is what...6700 or 6800 for redline right? The GSR is 8000 and an ITR is 8300. If you put together what everyone said in this thread so far, you'll find your answer...but some Integras are just a mystery.

this is not true. my LS had a spoiler and NO third brake light in the glass.

Some people cover up their VIN plates.

I'm surprised no one said anything about the leather interior...

 

some LS's do have the leather interior. tach and vin number is pretty much the only way to tell.

 

i've read thru and i can see that some people just don't kno... i started of with a 98 GS. that's in between an LS and a GSR. so it has a GSR body minus the blades, third brake light is on the spoiler and not on the hatch, leather interior also which came with the GS's. covered up my VIN so everyone thinks i have GSR. that would've been until you see my dash and my VTEC-less motor(when the car was stock). i could've easily put on some blades and changed out the tach to a GSRs to mimic the GSR look as stated before, of coures minus the engine. but if you look like a GSR and don't have the ***** of one......... hahahahahahahaaaa!!!

Anyone can always put in a GSR cluster and it would certainly be more illegal to change VINs.
