Default Difference between GSR and LS visually?

Is there any visual difference between the LS and GSR? I searched and could not find too much info. Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure the mirrors on all integras are painted. Another difference is wheels. 94-96 had fat fives, 97 had meshes, 98-01 had blades.

Spoiler...and a lot of times if the LS has a spoiler it will still have the 3rd brake light in the rear window which the GSR doesn't have.

I will try to outline them, but a little might be off, this is all for 2 doors by the way.

For 90-93, The LS has painted mirrors and door handles, but black side moldings, bumper moldings, and lip, it says DOHC on the molding, while the GSR will say VTEC on the side moldings. Moldings, bumper, lip, and door handles are all painted.

Spoiler is an option on the LS, so most will not have it.

GSR came with 14 inch alloys, and LS has 14 inch hubcaps.

FOR 94-01, There are lots of changes throughout the years, so:
LS and GSR both have body colored mirrors
LS can have optional spoiler, while GSR comes with it, hence the 3rd brake light left over in the LS's rear window
94-97 LS had 14 inch steel wheels with hubcaps (in 97 I see a lot with those ugly snowflake wheels, but I think it was an option), 98-01 LS had mesh alloy wheels (15"), while the 94-95 GSR had 15 in fat fives, 96 had 15 in 'turtles', 97 had 15 in mesh (like the 98-01 LS), and 98+ GSR had blades.
The GSR has a small emblem on the back right saying DOHC VTEC, the LS has no emblem besides Acura and Integra.
Also, 94-97 LS has black side moldings, in 98-01, I believe they started painting the LS side moldings as well. So a 98-01 LS will look very similar to a GSR except for the wheels and spoiler most of the time.

only the RS has unpainted side moldings and mirrors. integras come with all sorts of wheels not just fat fives blades and meshes. the third brake light is only on LS's. usdm gsr's are not sold in automatics. the vtec badge is only on the gsr. gsr's tend to have leather interiors more than any other model, but that doesn't really mean anything. DC2 is the 4th 5th and 6th digits of a gsr's vin number. DC4 is the 4th 5th and 6th digit of a non-vtec integra's vin. i can't really think of much else

The way I spot them is the third brake light. The gsr will NEVER have a 3rd brake light stock. I think most of those that purplegsr listed only applies to coupes. I have seen gsr sedans w/o spoilers.

my LS did not have a 3rd brake light in the window. only the brake light in the spoiler.

also, for one reason or another, it came with gsr fat fives.

95 Special Edition's also had fat-fives. You may not have a 3rd brake light in the rear window but you probably still have the 2 holes drilled in the window for the brake light unless you have a hatch from a GSR. I also took off my 3rd brake light from my old 94 LS window since it had the optional spoiler w/LED.

Oh really? my 92 LS does, but the 92-93 RS does not. So maybe the 90-91 LS did not have painted mirrors. What about the door handles?

my ls is not a special edition, nor did it have any holes drilled in the glass. and it is the stock hatch and glass.

I was just adding that 95 SE's have GSR flat-head wheels. I already knew you had an LS because you said you had an LS. If that makes any sense.. lol.

What is the first 6 digits of your VIN? Has your teg been in an accident? Either you have a GSR shell, or you have an LS that had a broken hatch window and replaced with a GSR hatch window, or your teg was in an accident and was replaced with GSR parts.

yes, it is a dc4. and it has been in in an accident, but it was a front end accident. nothing else got damaged. also, the only time the hatch has been replaced was when i broke it in an automatic car wash. the window i recieved did have the 3rd brake light in it because they said that's all that was available. didn't want one at first, but was glad it was there when i went wingless.
