Default dent puller...does it work well?

hey guys...i was at a local parts shop today (kragen) and i was looking at the DENT PULLER made by i think BONDO co. ...i was wondering if anyone has tried it yet because i have a dent on my passenger door that i want to pull out cuz its annoying the hell out of me.

anyone know if that dent puller works well at all? its sort of like a rubber suction with a release button that will release the pressure and pull out the dent...small little thing..i don't know if it actually works. let me know guys

thanx

From what I've heard from some of my friends they only work sometimes. If it was me I would just pull the inside panel off ans use a ball-pien(sp) hammer. But hey that's third hand info and just my opinion.

where is your dent located? I had a dented fender; I just removed the fender liner, stuck my hand up there and pressed it back out.........worked well enough.
If it's a rear panel, then take out the interior panel, and see if you can reach through and push it back out.
as for the dent puller, was about to buy it till I tried the above method.........didn't buy it

i bought the stupid suction cup thing, Didnt work on any of my dents, but it did on a dent in my dads toyota. If the dent is on any sort of crease in the car, it wont work. It has to be applied on a flat surface and you might get lucky. IMO Waste of 3 buycks

As long as the dent isn't in front of a support beam.....if it was dented there then the metal can kind of get "stretched" over it and you can't really pull it out with great results. Had a friend try to repair mine in my door and he couldn't do it

But hey give it a try! Let us know if it works...

My friend had a dent on his fender which was there for a while. When he tried one of the dent pullers it pulled the PAINT right off! hahaha, so its just the same except with a steel hole
