Default DC's Build Thread

Heres What I have done so far...(Pics are gonna be posted up later)

Story so far...
Bought a 1991 Ls Integra with a LS-VTEC swap running untuned with 11.1 compression pistons (Back then i was a dumbass) with 450 cc DSM injectors and stock FPR and Walbro 255 fuel pump.
So at the street races here in Kent I blew the motor and successfully ghetto towed it back home.
So I was faced with what to do which direction to go and since it was the one and only DD I had to decide somethin fast. I decided to rebuild the lsvtec and get it running.
I bought a LS motor off of craigslist for 300$ and started takin everythin apart. Half way through the swap I realized after takin the Head off of the LS i just bought that the bolts were loose internally, almost hand tight . I kept at it though with no compression tester or leak down tester. Finally swapped it all in and then turned it over, just a click. Research and research and finally figured out that the timing wasnt right and I advanced the Distributor a bit and got it turned over. Bad news is I still only had the 450 cc injectors and since the ECU isnt tuned right it reved to 4k. At the time i was confused, why is it that i swapped all the parts over, swapped the block and now its running off the wall.
So I took my ECU to a good friend at IMG (I vouch for the tuner Rich), and he chipped it with a GSR base map. Swapped it back into the car and realized two things. One...the power it was making was weak, it was actually so weak that my friends V6 2002 AUTO Mustang ran my cakes. Two...vtec cracked once every time i turned it over, no kiddin. So, I fixed the vtec problem simply by grounding the vtec solenoid and eliminating it from the ECU. Now I had vtec all the time put **** for power.
I figured out that it has to be the tune, thats gotta be it and so i took it in for a full tune. We swapped the 450cc injectors and resistor box for 240 cc injectors and then proceeded to do the first compression test. Compression was out the roof she banged out 240 psi through all 4 cylinders, I almost shat myself. Checked it over 5 times and it's still the same. Did a leak down test and it ran beautiful.
We get her on the road and tune a non vtec map first (street tune). Runs fine, then we start tuning for vtec. Here come the problems. We noticed that after 6 rpm she started to run real leanl; she infact ran so lean that the injectors were maxed out. We were shocked, and therefore decided to swap back in the 450 cc injectors and add a bigger FPR. After doing this we re tuned it and what happens now? We max out the 450 cc injectors. Stumped and not knowing what to do we figured it had to be the fuel pump. Listening to it carefully I could hear now that its chocking like its got bad flow. Rich showed me a trick and through listening under the hood we could hear that it was actually a STOCK fuel pump. So we tuned it for non vtec and rev limiter up to 6k. Ran fine. One day i started having problems she was chockin up and running a little bad. I went into a gas station to pay for gas and my grandpa put in 87. Now, I run 92, the previous 2 owners ran 92 as well, but right after we filled it up a block down the street the fuel pump gave in. So I had it towed back Home and ordered a genuine Walbro 255 Fuel Pump. Sadly, the bastard supposedly wrote my address down in ink and it got smeared so it got send back to him. Now im in contest and bout to order another fuel pump, then a retune.
Any suggestions for as far as what to do next since ive got a block sittin at my friends garage and am gonna be building it here in the next month or earlier. Where should I go in direction of pistons, internals, head (since im running all stock with 240 psi pistons), N/A or Turbo. Anythin is welcome.

not to be rude but i would suggest getting this one running and running good with vtec actually working correctly and a good tune before i worried about the next motor project.

Well yeah thats gonna be done in two weeks im not worried about that. It's a fuel pump and retune. Its built fine and only revs to 8k.
