Icon5 dc4 b20z2 swap, b18 head?

I recently bought a dc4 with a b18 with a crankshaft that shot through the block. The guy I bought it from also sold me a b20z2 with the car. He suggested using the b20 block, but the b18 head "because the b20 block slightly makes the compression higher and it’s also a little bit more reliable on the end of functionality" and that I dont need to swap ANYTHING from the b18 to the b20 because theyre the exact same engine, just with different compressions. thoughts on this and what i should do? (i just started getting into the car world, in that "learning alot" stage!"

This trusty calculator will help. Also this says the heads have the same combustion chamber size so no added compression.

Assuming b18b and not a VTEC head.
