i'm not as in-tra-nets savy as some...but what is "FTW?"

seriously. what does it mean?

**NOTE:I'm not trying to be funny.

but pertaining to the thread, 16s. They're nice. Should I go 15s...i'd only go with stocks...which i've yet to find.

How come you never had the side skirts painted when you had the front end done? Sweet ride though man!</TD></TR></TABLE>

forgot to do it, were gonna do it shortly after we got done painting the car, but never got around to it.

I recently got a $1500 check from a lady backing into my front bumper and poking a small hole in it, and I was going to get the whole front end repainted and the side skirts done, but I just got married a few months ago and we need furniture and stuff, so I just decided to keep the cash. Now I just ride around with the OEM mask on the front end all the time.

Truthfully, the front end most likely will never get repainted, and the side skirts will never get painted. But at this point as old as the car is with 258K miles on it, I don't really care anymore.

Just this past week I found a scrape along the bottom of my passenger door, and my garage door scuffed my rear bumper. Those will probably never get fixed, either.

It's not really mis-information, it's just an option. I put 195/50's on my stock wheels several years ago because the 195/55 size of the tire I wanted was on backorder, I needed tires badly, and the 195/50's were cheaper. A bonus is the slightly smaller tire effectively raises the final drive ratio slightly, making for a little bit better acceleration.

The speedometer read about 5 mph fast on the highway, which is good because it helps keep you out of trouble. When it says you're going 80, you're really only going 75 which is only 5 over. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I wouldn't exactly call it an "option." If you prefer a shorter sidewall, 205/50/15 is a more appropriate size. I've had a set of 195/50/15 and the loss in ride quality/comfort didn't seem to make up for the slightly increased handling and acceleration. The $5 or so difference simply isn't worth it, to me at least.

To reiterate, since there's a lot of bad/wrong information floating around in this thread...

Correct sizing for 90-01 Integra tires:

195/55/15
205/50/15
205/45/16
215/45/16
205/40/17
215/45/17
215/35/18

You must be super-sensitive, because I could not discern any difference in ride quality between 205/50-15 Yokohama ES100's and 195/50-15 ES100's.

205's are still too wide for 6" wheels.

I think it all depends on how much you've lowered your car. Up to a certain point, 16s look better, but if you really want to dump, then 15s are better.

this whole thread is going nowhere....its like arguing Democrats VS Republicans...its all preference and everyone has their reason to like one or the other. Regardless of which one you run, it'll look good. I have my reasons for running 15" while others like 16". Its all a matter of preference

I agree.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JDM_JnKyGzR &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">So I have a 95GSR and getting new wheels by December, but really confused on what size rims would look the best because I don't wanna buy a certain size and regret it with the other one. Whats ur guys best opinions? 15s or 16s?? </TD></TR></TABLE>

For looks, go to the Appearance and Cosmetic forum.

For tech:
15" wheels:
Are generally lighter than 16" wheels
Will generally have a lower moment of inertia than 16" wheels, especially with tires mounted (better acceleration and braking)
All USDM ITRs came with 15" wheels

16" wheels:
Have a smaller sidewall which tranlates to better cornering compared to 15" wheels(in general)
Can accomodate larger brakes
Later JDM ITRs came with 16" wheels

16's. does an inch really help you that much on the track? if so, why not get 13's or 12's?

because they don't clear the brakes. can't get tires in that size. would drop the car too low, and can't put the power down.

you fail at sarcasm

16s are ideal if mostly stock aero, 15s are ok as well though. to pull off 17s u need a little aero and i think riceball777 pulls it off nicely
