Im looking into buying some ITR DB8 door panels and i was wondering if there was a year where they came WITH the tweeters ? I've searched and didn't find anything that says they didn't, but the pics i did find showed them w/o. Also on Password they show without. I was thinking maybe the 98 spec came with the tweeters ??? So if you guys know for a fact that the itr's did/didn't have them that would be great.

An excellent question, I unfortunatly don't have the answer for. I hope to learn as well. But hey, even with out the tweeter cut-outs they are sweet looking. Besides, tweeter hole are easy to cut. Bump for some info.

 

Well the main reason i would like to know is that i know someone that is selling some ITR db8 panels, BUT his have the tweeters on them. So i want to know if these are fake and he just put some black lining on the door.

 

Im just curious but what are you going to do about the window switches?

I was looking at DB8 panels too but havent ordered anything yet because isn't the right side going to have the master window control cutout instead of the left side?

 

yup but all you do is switch them, and the ones im looking at dont have the switchs.
But i will get them anyway.

I could have sworn JDM ITR panels do not come with the tweeter. I may be wrong but my 2 door ones DO NOT HAVE THEM. Assuming its the same across the board, DB8's would be a negative, ghost rider.

 

passwordjdm has the dc2 itr either with tweeters or not.

I got a set of ITR DB8 doorpanels, got them with the carbonfiber switches and all, and mine do not come with the holes, I was also wondering about that...

The set that I use to have on my car before also did have them (this where just your normal usdm leather door panels) but in the back it had a circle where you would cut out if you wanted to add some, so thats what i did.

Yeah, but why would that matter? Its a simple, but tedious mod...Check it out.
