Default Dash Change...Cluster Help

"i searched before you say it"ok i changed my tan dash to black, switched the harness from the old dash to new and when i installed everything back in the car, my cluster wouldnt light up nor the climate control.ok, found a plug under the dash i missed and plugged it in and its been fine since,.now for the real question.i did the same dash change to my girlfriends car and her cluster/climate control wont illuminate. looked for the plug to be the prob,(as it was mine) and as far as i can see, they are all in tact and plugged in....any ideas,....oh and the fuse is fine and tail lamps illuminate also.any hep i' really appreciate..really a dagram or w/e of the plugs behind the fuse box would help. its a 1997 GS Integra. Thanks

as I understand it you are using the original cluster, climate, etc., and swapping in a new dash and harness? if it worked before and it doesn't now, it's quite obviously a problem with the wiring. remember, you never know what stupid **** previous owners have done

check your dimmer switch. if it goes bad or is unplugged, your dash lights won't work.
