alright well i have an acura integra (1990) 210,XXX miles, and im pretty sure it has some engine problems. Previous owner told me it was the distributor. Just yesterday the car didn't start for the first time, and its been doing it on and off ongoing to today. It's like if i turn the car on and off a lot of times it wont turn on and i got to wait for it. Also in gears it hesistates in the 2k rpm, and after 3 its fine and if i gas it, it backfires. CEL is not on right now but it did go on for a little bit the other day.

what are my problems? Do i just need a new dizzy?

Sound like a dizzy to me. I also had that problem once and it was the ground on the thermostat housing.
