Default DA front end on DC?

Aright , well the other day i finally blew my motor, i had a rod knocking and a few other things wrong as a result of a bad mis shift at almost redline in 4th to 3rd instead of 5th. But anyways the rod was knocking and i needed a valve cover gasket an a gasket in the 3rd cylinder. But two days ago the motor blew before i could replace anything. Ive already got a motor on its way. Im going to be taking my car off the road for the winter to work on some body work. And plus swap the motor.

I actually got hit also like 8 weeks ago and the dude bent my crash bar out a little but there was no fram damage. Now i was wondering if a DA front end would fit on a DC chassis. I know anything is possible if youve got money but im 17. So you know i dont have millions. ANyways would DA fenders and front bumper bolt up on a DC chassis? I know im going to most likely fabricate a housing for the headlights but will the fenders and bumpers line up? And should i use a crash bar from a DA or DC.... or be an idiot an just not use one at all?

If theres anyone out there thats done a DA conversion on a DC itd be appreciated

You'd be better off w/ the JDM Front end conversion for your year... I don't think the DA front end will look right on the DC chassis IMO. The DA was designed a little bit boxier, whereas the DC has smoother lines. If you want you can try, but I don't think it will be too easy.

Might have cost more...

Don't waste your time trying to imitate the greatest generation of Integra with Bondo and futile attempts to recreate the king. It's not gonna happen.

Stick with the ugly *** 4 lens set up.

the big question: "WHY!!!??"

if you're 17 and money is an issue. getting an 94-01 OEM front would be the cheapest. JDM front would be the second cheapest ( since labor cost would be nice to none if u do it urself). but downgrade to a DA front is gonna cost the most b/c u will have to replace fenders, hood, bumper and headlights, and don't forget bondoing to fill up any cracks and imperfection ( stuff you cant do by urself if u want a clean final result at the end). labor will burn a hole into your wallet.

I wouldn't waste my money doing a DA conversion on my DC2. A 98+ conversion yes, a DA conversion, no way, that car came out like crap. Just bang out the body issues and get it repainted. AS for the HT vs TI thing, well this is just ridiculous, who care who is a ricer... are you? I thought both forums do a good job of keeping out the ricer nonsense, I guess we eliminated all the ricers on the forums and now we have to go after our own good guys. Today is a sad day

I'm a jackass for posting my opinion? Hm... something just doesn't seem right about that. I didn't know not liking the DA front on a DC makes me a jackass.

nah i was just considering it an wanted to see if it was easy or not. You're right though i am better off just goin with a jdm conversion if i go that route but ill most likely just buy another carbon fiber spoon lip and leave at that looks wise. thx for the opinions though even though some of you's are jackasses
