hey my driver side cv joint is out and ive got a pair ordered so they should be here later this week. ive searched for a thread but didnt find any. whos changed theres b4? is it somethin i could do myself in a day/weekend?
I don't think anyone here knows your mechanical ability, what tools you have, what facilities you have so without that information it will be hard for us to tell you whether you can or cannot do the above mentioned questions.

There are three things about swapping axles that can be difficult.
1) breaking the axle bolt free, breaker bar makes this easier
2) seperating the lower ball joint, there is a neat trick to this
3) prying the axle from the intermediate shaft or tranny
If you get past these, its all a breeze. Takes me about 45 minutes per side if everything goes smoothly.

my bad i have access to a shop and im eh.... mechanically inclined.

good point anyone had this done recently at a shop?

its the easiest job bro dont pay those guys for work u can do on ur driveway just make sure u have sockets with and a axel nut breaker with a 30 something MM i forgot.. and also dont forget to get new couder pins so when u put the ball joint back in u can slide those in.. Ohh yea also just remembered the axels usually come off with a plastic peice on the break side so make sure u only have one on ther because i had two on it and it wouldent grab it just slid like it was in neutral
