custom cabin filter
has anyone thought about creating a custom cabin filter for their integra? i am definately thinking about creating one. does anyone know where the best place would be to install one? i am thinking about installing one somehow because where i live there is excessive smog and exhaust fumes in the air due to cars, trucks, heavy traffic, etc. let me know what you peeps think. thanks.
My vents are closed while I'm driving but yet I still smell exhaust coming from other cars. Does anyone know where the best place would be to install cabin filters? I was thinking right below the windshield and also behind the vents. I barely use my air conditioner/heater so I am concerned about the loss of air flow coming out of them. What do you guys think?
You might have to disassemble your dash a little, but if you can get to the blower motor unit, there should be a way of installing a custom filter in there. Sounds like a great project.

I know but he'll forget the airs not fresh.

I remember seeing a DIY integra cabin air filter on hear a few months ago. I searched for it but could not find it. This is for a civic without air conditioning, but it might be similar to what you are trying to do. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1418932
