Default Curiosity

Just out of curiosity, how long can the stock cams and intake manifold last? Also what are some signs that they are going bad? So far I've got 109 K miles.

i have a freind who has a 1989 UKDM CRX Vt and theres 195,000 miles on his original engine, the only thing he has ever done to the car is regular services/timing belt etc, he's never had a major part fail, and his car doesnt even burn oil!! He's owned the car since new and is the only driver. If the car is well looked after theres no reason cams/etc wont last over 200k+ miles

yeah, no worries. Just take care of it. components like that dont just fail under normal use unless neglected.
