How do i remove the adjustment knobs on my seat??
Im trying to get the rails off my gsr seats to put on my new del sol seats!...but i need to remove the adjustment *****...and i dont want to break by ripping them off...how can i take them off without wreccking them??..
there is a clip that holds them.. if you turn it in the right position and have a hook like took (either a 90 degree hook tool, or like an angled picker tool)... you can pull out the clip.. to insert it back you position the clip in the groove of the plastic **** (outer) and the metal (inner) **** and press it in...
the outer one.. I got a screwdrive and pick like tool to remove the clip that holds the **** then I simply slid the plastic **** off the metal part thats connected to the seat/seat rail...
for the middle one I couldnt tell you... I had trouble trying to take the middle **** off w/o breaking it. .and my friend and I just ended up using the GSR rail for the outer rail.. and the Civic rail for the inner... it was the inner (nearer the center console) rear bolt that didn't line up.. so after swapping the inner rails it bolted in...
I had a thread on this.. I was trying to swap integra seats w/ Civic Seat rails and no one knew/could offer any help...
I didn't have/couldnt find a tool around my garage and house that could get to the pin on the middle **** on the 98+ integra seats...

Hey thanks...I ended up just turning the seat upside down and looking at the clips from behind the ***** and i just pryed the clips off with a flathead screwdriver!...worked like a charm...at first i was trying to take them off from the front and that didnt work at all.....if you look underneath and behind the *****..you can easily see the clips and just pick the clips off with the screwdriver!!!!
slightly OT: now ONE of my sol seats is in!..the other one is still not in because I stripped one of the rail bolts!!!!!!!! muthaf*ck!!!!!!!!!!!!....PITA...but ill get it off soon!!....either way..the del sol seats are sweeeeet!!!...just like everyone says...best OEM seat next to itr's!
