I'd try moving the piping next to the shifter around on the hangers and see if it gets of the rattling. My C's rattles ever so slightly and I've never heard of people complaining about rattling for C's so I'm guessing the exhaust needs to be repositioned slightly.

I'm sure my rattling is install related. The steel spacer in the bushings were put into the Prothanes, but they were so rusted out I had to pry them out initially. I guess I should've used new one. And I never tighted the allen bolt on my spoon **** either. I'll try that tommorrow.

K,

Your rattling may be due to the Prothane bushing; try it with the stock rubber one and see if the problem goes away...it's why I went with the Spoon bushing like Dee

sum1 told me this
"Short shifters change the leverage of the linkage....it will grind in the long term...because things inside the tranny aren't within spec no more when the lever moves....the only one which I could ever recommend is C's....but that **** costs like 350CAD for the short shifter...."

any comments?
I agree the shop that I frequent has a tenzo r short shifter and they are starting to get shifting problems into second and they are suspecting that they are from the shifter.
