witht he 403's you might be able to get away with it but not the 404's even with the 403s if you turn your ac on there is a good chance it'lls tall on you. I have a set for sale along with crower dual vavle springs. both in good condition. asking for 320 shipped let mek now if you are interested.

hey dont barge in on my thread haha im just playing with you. But I can't remember if his cams have been regrounded from crower though, you might want to double check. And can i just get away with crower 403's and not have to worry about getting valve springs and retainers? eh

Sorry I can't post at work or write back to your PMs not he crower 403's are crower 403's they are not regrinds. got avbout 8-10k miles on them but still in excellent condition the springs are the LS dual valve springs by crower. yes it is the set that is listed on the website. i had them for about 8 months but in those time my car was only up and running for 2 months. about 3000 miles total on it.. my car is still down... pissing me off. anyways i am going LS/v that is why i am selling them. i am selling a mild port and polish head that is perfect for the streets. u can take the whole setup for 500 shipped. the head needs to have either helicoil or retap for one of the bolt holes 20-30 bucks job at a machine shop and then it is perfectly ready to go. please e-mail me at lodoss@cavtel.net. I have been around here and G2IC for a while and you can check for vouches. i just got my digital camera back and as soon as i go work on my car again i'll take some pics.. hopefully i'll be able to take the head off. currently still on the car not running.

all motor race = go for 404 all motor street fun = 403. the 404 dont make anymore power till like 6-7k rpm.. so in most ls that is the rev limit. plsu 403 gives more mid and low range power.. not trying to promote my sale here just stating facts.. 404 for drag.. 403 for more streetable power

I would so buy your head package if I had the cash to do so. But I guess I will have to start buying parts piece by piece. 403s, valve springs, mild p&p. BTW how much did you pay for labor on install of parts above if did not do them yourself?

hehe my build process was more like a learning process.. i first did the cam install and then the valve spring and then lter on put on some PR3's pistons and now or was doing the P&P head but not doing that ne more. but when i put in the bottom end rebuild i think i paid about 350 total for labor. bottom end and vavle springs . so far on the p&p head i spend about 250 just on parts and labor. i put in brand new bronze valve guides the intake ones are really good shape. also just did a 3 angle valve job and already lapped the valve also put in new vavle stems. you fix the hole and this bad boy is good to go guaranteed. my motor never blew, i just wanted to upgrade/rebuild etc. whoever gets this package is getting a super super deal. if it was me a year ago i would of jumped on it instantly . but then that was a me a year ago =o
