There's coolant leaking on the bottom of the radiator right above the drain plug. It's actually leaking right where the metal is crimped to the plastic. Is there any way I can crimp the metal more to the plastic to stop the leak? Help!!!!

 

Sounds like you need a new radiator. Mine had the same exact problem.

 

the plastic endtanks commonly have this problem. I recently replaced my own radiator due to the same.

http://www.radiatorbarn.com sold me an all metal, dual row radiator for a bit over 100 bucks.

me too, except mine was on top.....time for a new one! i got a go-dan one from advance auto parts w/a lifetime warranty.....this was about 2 yrs ago, and so far so good!

 

alright well thanks for the info guys. I guess I'll have to buy a new one. I'll probably go with an all aluminum radiator.
