Quick Fix for Slight Radiator/Coolant Leak?
I recently discovered that I have a slight coolant leak from my radiator. I know the cause but would hate to have to replace the entire radiator so I'm seeking to see if there's a way to keep it from leaking.
The problem or cause of the leak is because I have an aftermarket radiator fan that uses those plastic mounting things where you have to push it through the radiator and clamp it down the other side. Well, I believe that the plastic mounts has now broken or disrupted two of the horizontal "fins"(def?) where the coolant travels. I'm wondering if there's a quick way to patch it up so coolant doesn't leak out anymore. Anything similar to gasket sealants, that can work with coolant?
TIA.

Or if you cant solder it, you can always purchase a new one for about 65 shipped to your door from RC autoworks i believe.

Yeah I didn't want to buy a new one... I'll try to solder it.. that sound a bit logical. If that doesn't do it, then perhaps I'll have no choice but to replace it. Thanks for the soldering suggestion!
