for the tranny swap you can bolt in (and use bolt in-able DA parts) a YS1, a Y1, a J1 or an S1. as for the ecu you can use an obd1 pr4 or a p75 manual trans ecu. definitly need new ecu for trans if you dont want to throw trans codes. as for a vtec swap: vtec head complete with intake manifold, valve cover, sensors, solenoid, and all valve train. then you'll need gsr sized (oem or whatever aftermarket) head bolts or studs. you'll need an LS head gasket, a few drill bits and an LS/vtec conversion kit that includes a line to feed the head oil to activate vtec. as far a vtec ecu goes: p28 (92-95 sohc vtec ecu, needs to be chipped for dohc), p30 (dohc vtec del sol), p61 (92-93 gsr), p72 (94-95 gsr, although there is a secondary activation with this ecu and i wouldn't recommend, also has a crappy vtec cross and what not), then theres the hard to find obd1 pr3. basically any obd1 ecu (d-series, h-series, b-series, jdm or not) can be dealt with to work for a b-series vtec setup.

i'd look into golden eagles ls/vtec kit. i believe its no drilling involved, dont remember though. i'd also really recommend vtec water pump and oil pump and arp rod bolts. those will help hold the bottem end together when climbing past that 7k rpm mark. if you want a cool build, get yourself some p72 or usdm ITR pistons. i wouldn't recommend anything higher in compression or anything that will yield higher compression do to the LS bottom ends lack of squirters. Cast pistons will simply melt in an LS block if you run a hot setup.
