check engine light is off when i start the car after driving a bit it will pop on. shut the car off then turn it back on and its gone until i drive for a while again. and vtec doesnt pop often and when it does it hits at a random rpm like 7100 or somthing retarded
the vtec and everything worked fine until the battery took a ****. and when my mom helped me jump it i herd a arc and didnt think much of it but now the car wont cross over and acts wierd. and it rejects the scanners for the check engine light.
its a 96 ls integra
has a 96 spec type r swap
has a hasport jumper harness for the vtec
and a jdm type r computer

there's a green rubber plug holder under your glove box tucked up under the dash. stuck inside of it will be a plastic connector with two wires. jump them, or "connect them with an electrical conductor" such as a paperclip. click the link in my signature that says CEL trouble codes and read that thread.

turns out it was my speedo sensor going bad. it flickered a long time ago and acted fine till last week and it gave up and i replaced it and the car has been fine since. thanks for the info guys
