Default Compression test... searched

i finally got around to doing a compression test. 200 190 190 190. i don't think that was bad at all. so i put everything back together. decide to start up my car to get food. and bam. car won't start. so i check rechecked and double check my plugs and cables. everything is correct. it cranks up but won't start. now my car is like completely dead. battery died out from running a bunch of different tests. i know i needed a new altenator, but that wouldn't stop my car from starting. i mean it started like 2 hrs before the compression test. ive tried changing spark plugs and wires. nothing worked.... my distrubitor is working... i mean it just doesn't die in 2 hrs... while it's parked too. anyone have any idea or have experienced this?? sorry for the long post. TIA

did you pull the fuel injector plugs/fuse when you did the test? If you didnt, my guess would be the cylinders are flooded.

If the cylinders are flooded, take out the spark plugs, disconnect the ecu or pull the F/I fuse, and crank it over about 10 times or so. This will circulate anything in the cylinders through the exhaust. Clean the plugs if necessary, and try starting again.

My vote is you flooded it too, espcially if you didn't pull the fuse before you did the test. I'd try removing the plugs and the fuse and crank it more......that's got to be the reason. good luck
