Default Compression Test Results!!

I just did a compression test on my Ls and I wanted to see if this engine can handle turbo. So here are the numbers.

Cylinder 1: 190
Cylinder 2: 165
Cylinder 3: 165
Cylinder 4: 195

So do guys think is still good enough to run turbo. Let me know. Thanks

2 and 3 don't look so hot. I'd get new rings and valve seals at the least. Doing a rebuild now will be much easier than boosting and throwing a rod thru the block. The Ls has 199 compression from the factory. You want the cylinders to wear evenly, and yours are off a bit. Full or partial rebuild and you should be all good.

Boost it, blow it up, get a new one. =D they're a dime a dozen.
