Default compression test numbers...

i did a compression test on my friends ls and these are the numbers...150, 150, 140, 30... do you think we could have a blown headgasket..??

Probably not a blown headgasket. How many miles on the motor? Does it blow smoke at all? Does it use alot of oil?

it does go through oil alot but no visible leaks from the headgasket area...could it be the ring on that cylinder?

That is 30...wow. Youre running on 3 cylinders practically...perhaps you blew the ring on that cylinder.

it is 30....i have no idea if its the head gasket or a ring...anyways i guess ill tell my friend its time for a rebuild..

Oh, I didnt even see that 30, I read it too fast and thought it was 130. Your rings are probably shot in that cylinder. Either that or the headgasket is blown on the side. Either way, its time for a rebuild.
