Default Compression Test

ok honda tech need your help this time. i was preforming a compression test on my 97 acura integra gsr and I pulled out all the plugs, the fuel injector wires/clips. and just throw the spark plug wires to the side with out unplugging the dizzy wire. and did the test and now it wont start.. so did i blow my ignition coil?

check your fuses and hopefully you put the plug wires in the correct firing order.

I still don't know why you pulled the injector wiring off. you pull the fuse off the underhood fuse box if you want the injectors to not squirt.

its all in order. and i just unclipped them so no fuel would go in

You could of just disconnected the distributor without having to disconnect your injectors. Time to check for fuel and spark.

YEP YEP all I do is just unhook the distributor main connection so I have no spark

Is it possible that the module is gone instead of the coil? CHECK
THE MODULE! i did the same thing after buying my car, turns out i somehow fried the module. . .

if you didnt disconect the dizzy connectors i'm pretty sure you shorted ur coil.

Get your ignition coil tested and see if it shitted on you.

this is the correct answer, get a new coil and start the car

coil tests are not always accurate. bad coils will test good more than you might think

damn lucky me i have the same problem cause my friend forgot to pull the distributor connector. how do you test if the coil and module are working or not?

there is no accurate way to test the coil besides using a known good one. team integra has a coil test but it's not 100% or even near. there is also a module test that escapes me. normally the coil fries when you do the compression test and don't unhook it. any $20 ebay coil will work fine for quite awhile. i know of one still going after 3 years
