What engine do you have?

Variance between cylinders is usually figured as a percentage instead of an actual psi reading. So, with your lowest being 235 and highest being 265 theres like 11-12% difference, which isn't bad.

One thing though, when 2 numbers are lower and they are cylinders that are next to each other, a headgasket leak is common. It would be best to check that with a leakdown test if you want to be certain on whether your engine is healthy.

It's probably fine, but if it were me I'd do a leakdown to be sure.

To do it, you need a leakdown tester and an air compressor. Remove the oil cap, intake tube, and radiator cap. You pull the spark plugs, set cylinder 1 to TDC, and pump I think like 100 psi into the combustion chamber.

The first gauge on the tester tells you how many psi you're pumping in. The second gauge tells you what percentage of that air is leaking out. You get your reading, set the next cylinder to TDC, and repeat.

I believe anything under 20% leakdown is considered OK. You can tell what your problem is by where the air comes out. It helps to hear it with a stethoscope.

-Air from oil cap = rings
-From exhaust = exhaust valves
-Intake Manifold = intake valves
-Radiator cap = headgasket or cracks

I probably missed something I'm in a bit of a rush, so someone else please chime in if needed. Hope that helps.

Another thing to think about... even 235 psi is perfectly normal for a b18c1. Maybe the 2 higher-reading cylinders have some carbon buildup.
