yep.. i believe 180 across is optimal for your engine, so, at 206k miles, you're fine.

I agree with some of the other posts here. Pick up a Haynes manual or some other shop manual and look under the compression section and it will tell you precisiely the right way to test your compression for that model. But basically the engine should be warm and you should have the throttle wide open and all spark plugs removed. Crank about 7 times, at least in my 1989 Integra LS manual it tells me this. The pressure should build quickly. MAke sure to disconnect the fuel pump if you don't like gasoline fumes. I got 190 183, 180, 190 after doing a head gasket job on mine. I think you want to have your cylinders no more than 15% variance, but this depends on the manual your read. DO add oil and see if the compression comes up. If it does it is likely weak rings. If it doesn't maybe a valve job is needed. Good luck

Those are good numbers. Don't worry about rebuilding untill it drop to abour 130

i had a shitty head on my car before, my compression was 165, 165, 95, 172

i swapped out heads (with a lil work done to the head) and i got this all across the board

Only 9.6 CR too
