Does any one know what the stock compression is on a 95 JDM B18C?
What is the Standard and Minimun numbers thanks in advance.

 

oh you mean cylinder compression ? ackkk i dont know that one .... i bet the values are in a Helms for the USDM version ... might be tough gettin the specs for a JDM b18c but i bet there similar

 

10.6:1 c.r

 

10.6:1 for JDM SIR-G
11.0:1 for JDM spec R

 

my bad i was not specific enough I mean the cylinder compression. If you know what it is for the US version that is close engough. thanks again

 

It's been a while but the all-data CD said 270 nominal and 135 is the absolute minimum for the USDM. Realistically most good running B18C1's are around 190-235. So anything in that vicinity should be pretty normal. Consistency is more important than super high numbers

 

Thanks a lot. I think last time i did the compression check they were at 175 but i am not positive. I am seeing bluish smoke come out the exhaust at high RPM's could 175psi compression cause this. thanks for the info.
