Default Cold starting problems

I have this problem with my 95 RS, every morning when I turn the key to start up my car I have to leave the key in the on position untill it turns on and it takes some times like 5, 10 or even 30 seconds to star up and some days doesn't even starts at all I need to push it and start it on 2nd gear, can this be a problem with my starter or the main relay? every light turns on and I can listen to the fuel pump to go on and i can heard a clicking sound from the fuse box. Another thing is that when i turn off the car and later i try to turn it on, it will go on but it takes like 2 to 5 seconds to start up with the switch in the on position.

thanks for your help guys.

i dont understand... it takes 5, 10, sometimes 30 seconds of cranking?

anyways, if you hear the fuel pump priming the main relay is good. and since it is taking so long to crank i bet you have great fuel pressure. i'd actually do what was mentioned before and give the ignition a look over. you say you can kick start it though, so that kinda rules that out of the equation.

how is cranking? is it sluggish and tired sounding or does it crank like normal? describe in detail what happens exactly how the situation is when the car wont start/hard to start.

you can tell though when its the battery...good battery rididididididididididid...bad battery, waaaraaaaraaaaraaa.

check fuel filter, cap and rotor.

fyi cranking for 30 seconds is bad... max id pull is like 5 seconds...

you need spark, fuel, air and timing to get combustion, one of these you dont have.
