Which coilovers should I buy???
I'm getting ready to get some coilovers on the teg, which do you guys recommend. The 3 I have in mind are the Megans, D2, and the omni powers. I'm looking to spend under 1,000 dollars. Any info would be great.... thanks.
the coilovers are going on a 98 gsr that might have an occasional track day in the future.

It depends on which models of each brand, for example...
Tein RS>Cusco Comp-S
Tein N1>most any Japanese Coil-over

did you search? This question comes up daily I think? Anyways, the only suspension setup I have ever had is Tein SS's. I love them, but I have no other experience like I said. Anyways, go look in the suspension forum, thats what it is there for. Also, your best bet would be to swap to Type R rear LCA's, then using the Tein's used for the ITR. There is a bigger selection. You might want to save up some more though.

I run the omnipower street setup on my 01 gsr. I love them. The problems you will hear about the omnis are from the older version, so if your getting them now, they will be the newer version for sure.
Its up to you, but im just letting you know my opinion. I love my omnis and recommend them to many people.

Different spring rates on the GC's could have made them feel the same as the D2's, no doubt. When you say "feel better" do you mean like performance (less body roll, squat, dive, etc) or do you mean better ride quality?
Don't say one coilover is better than another just because of the ride quality. That is HIGHLY dependant on spring rates.

Re: (PatrickGSR94)
I'm rockin the tein ha's with itr lca's...definately a big improvement over my old set up; tokico illumina's and gc's. Ride quality, dampening, and stability improved overall. I'd also look into the koni yellows and gc's. There's been A LOT of good feedback with that set up, or of course, you can go with the Tein's. I was gonna get omni's before but I heard for daily driving, its a little too rough. I commute and do some spirited driving time to time so I needed something that I could adjust. Definately do some research according to your driving style and you'll find what you need.

Re: (iH8RICERZ)
I was going to get the omnis, but the shock stiffness isnt adjustable, and after searching around I read a few complaints/horror stories.
ended up ordering a set from this site -- f2autolife.com completley adjustable, 1 year warranty, all aluminum, quality is excellent and got them in the mail very promptly. should be installing them within the week and will have a more comprehensive review at that time.
Tein always makes a nice setup

IMO I would go with the Omni's. Here you go: http://robearracing.com/pd_omni_power_complete.cfm
