Default Coilover Question - height adjustment

I am the new owner of the type flex. I would like to match the height correctly with the suspension travel by following the chart included in the manual, but it is a bit confusing.

For exampe. For the Front shock absorber, it says that the bottom of the shock body to the top of the shock body (spot where rod comes out), should be 9.65" +/- .79" HOWEVER, even after I screw the bottom of the shock body ALL the way on, it is barely under 10" This doesn't sound right. Not only that, the fully assembled shock seems kinda short.

IF anyone has the full length from pillow ball mount to the bottom (LCA mounting) position of the front & rear shocks, please post some so I can compare them to my setup.

Thank You.
