Coilover?
One of my friends bought offbrand ebay coilovers and used them with his stock struts on his 98 civic ex and he really likes them. They're nice and stiff, a little bouncy though. But you get that with a lot of coilovers.

Yeah Im thinking about just doing it all out with good quailty parts. I was asking all the questions because a friend of mine has some Bomz Racing coilovers just lying around at his shop that he was going to give me. I was hoping just dropping it a little with the coilovers would be okay.
Yeah im debating it my ride needs to be dropped bad! It looks like its flying with all the mods and the stock setup. I will take your advice and just buy some good shocks.
oh if theyre free then go for it, ^ as stated above, get some quality shocks. Yea i hear ya on the drop, my gsr's tire gap is so ugly its ridiculus, i ordered some ground contorol coilovers last week hopefully theyll be here monday, im ready to drop my whip too man.

hell if they are free, I'd take them and swap out shocks for Koni.. :D
or you could just do it right and buy Koni w/ Ground controls, next best thing to getting full coilovers

Okay guys I actualy got to look at the coilovers today and their not even coilovers their springs lol. I guess my friend didnt know the diffrence anyway if I replace the springs will my stock shocks be abe to handle that better than with coilovers?
Yeh you should be fine with springs on stock shocks, the drop with coilovers is normally a bit lower than springs, but I know people that have coilovers on their stocks and still haven't blown them, including myself,so I really wouldn't worry too much, besides if you were to blow them you could always upgrade.
True the only problem is I go back to college in August so my funds will be kinda low if you know what I mean lol. I dont want to have to go to my mom and ask her to pay to fix my car. But if you have ran your setup for a while with no problems then I dont see why I cant?
