i have a determinator (matco) scan tool i amhaving a problem communicating with the car (obd2) the scanner is giving a screen tat reads no communication . cheack key on and/or cables. key is def on and the connector is on tight . neone experience this before, maybe bad ground somewhere or something

 

On the connector of the scanner that you to the diagonistic port, Is there a slot for a little "chip" like thing to go in?

If so make sure you have the right "chip" in for Asian imports.

I have experience with a Snap-on Scanner?
