Default code 9 with conversion harness

I have a 96 ls integra ls vtec w/ boomslang obd2a to obd1 conversion harness into a p28 and I'm throwing code 9 cylinder sensor circuit. We traced the wires through the harness and it seems like things got crossed in there. Wire coming from the ecu end of the boomslang harness goes to a blank on the obd2a stock harness. So now we're stuck any advice or previous experiences would help.TIA

cylinder sensor is inside the distributor. i have the same exact code thrown on my car and i have no idea how to fix it.

edit: it could also be your distributor if you have a aftermarket one.
