hey im throwing code 8 on my obd0 pr3 ecu. i have a b18c swap if that matters. i see its the TDC sensor, but my question is, where is that and how can i fix it. thanks!

 

It's in the distributor, one of the sensors around the shaft. Unless you find something easy like a loose wire or mounting bolt, you have to replace it. I've heard you can't get the sensors without buying the whole distributor(?)

 

damn! its wierd though, my check engine light isnt on, but my ecu still blinks 8 times. and i know my check engine light works so..

I don't know... Maybe it's stored from an earlier problem? Clear it to see if it comes back (did you already do that)??
